This piece was designed for the group exhibition "Mujer. Objeto" within the Madrid Design Week 2018.
With this piece we intend to explore two materials of opposite character. On the one hand, we recovered a low-end material and industrial manufacturing as is the MDF, usually relegated to unseen or structural elements. On the other hand, ceramics, a material of a markedly artisanal character that has accompanied human beings since the dawn of civilization. The dialogue between the two materials serves as an exercise in reflection that contributes to the construction of a contemporary language of its own in the field of design.
